Plein Air Painting Workshops with Noreen Coup
Plein Air Painting brings us closer to the lands that we are visiting. It gives us time to absorb our surroundings, connect with a visual viewpoint and express our emotions on canvas. And there is no more beautiful place than Italy to do just that.
My medium is oil and I paint mostly with a Palette Knife, however you are welcome to use brushes. My technique allows me to created bold, colorful and textural impressionistic paintings that speak to the viewer’s emotions.
We will concentrate on composing a landscape painting en plein air, color mixing, values studies, applying palette knife techniques and knowing when to stop!
During this fabulous week in Sorrento, we will venture off for (3) full days of Plein Air Painting. We will travel by bus to these destinations including but not limited Sorrento’s surrounding areas, Capri, Positano and/or the Amalfi Coast.
Workshop fee for (3) Full Day Workshops is $450.
Lunch and transportation is not included.
